S&G Engineering Gmbh and Empowering Wind has established a manufacturing and assembly joint venture, based in Middlesbrough our firm batch of 500KW wind turbines will be installed in Q-02 2012.

Empowering Wind's North East operations is based in Billingham with our business partners, SC Consulting Engineers. We are strategically located in a centre for heavy engineering close to Middlesbrough shipping port where we have access to heavy lifting and indistrual scale storage, providing us with the ability to manage logistical operations and cost efficiently unload, transport and construct wind turbines anywhere in the UK.
SC Consulting Engineers has a 45 year track record in marine, oil and gas, power generation and heavy engineering. We are technically very strong, alligning our electrical and mechanical engineering, civil works and construction project management services with our manufacturers so as to reduce costs and maximise efficiency in the logistics and construction of our projects.
The P250 is a Danish 250KW wind turbine design with a long established record of reliable operation in the field. There are over 840 x P250 turbines in operation, with a track record of reliable performance dating back 14 years. The P250 is being deployed at our sites throughout Northern Ireland. This wind turbine and its simple, reliable design fits perfectly with our business model of deployment of cost efficient, reliable and high performing 250KW wind turbines in Northern Ireland, where there is high demand for turbines of this size.
Our projects are delivered on a turnkey basis, we have direct relationships with all our manufacturers who construct our projects with us and become involved in our projects at an early stage.
